Double Band Pave Set Diamond Engagement Ring

Diamond engagement rings for $12000

If you’re shopping for diamond engagement rings for $12000 then you’re going to be pleasantly surprised with the variety of options which are available to you. You can start out with something like this 1.171 carat, H-color, VS-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature Cushion cut diamond and set it in an 18k white gold double band pave set diamond engagement ring and come in right on target! Note that the ring is pictured above with a round diamond set in it because I liked this vantage point, but you can see a square cut diamond set in the ring on the details page.

Now if you like the way it looks set with a round brilliant cut diamond, choose this 1.274 carat, H-color, SI-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond which will only set you back about another one hundred dollars, or you could even save a few hundred bucks by choosing this 1.247 carat, H-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond with strong blue fluorescence and maintain the same look.

Round Square Halo Style Engagement Ring:

Round Square Halo Engagement RingIf you’re looking for something a little more elaborate, consider our round square halo style engagement ring which sells for $3,540.00 in 18k white gold, and select something like this 1.124 carat, G-color, SI-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond for $8,342.00 (cash / wire transfer discount price) and you’ll come in under budget!

Another diamond that would look amazing in this setting is this 1.207 carat, F-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond with medium blue fluorescence. This ring is designed in-house under the guidance and supervision of Brian Gavin by skilled craftsmen who adhere to the strictest standards of production quality. The accent diamonds used in this and other Brian Gavin Signature settings are F/G color, VS clarity, Brian Gavin Signature melee which are cut to a higher standard of quality than most jewelry designers use in their production. This means that the accent diamonds in the diamond engagement rings which we create will sparkle just as much as the center stone which you select from the Brian Gavin Signature and Brian Gavin Blue collections of super ideal cut diamonds.

One question that I get asked quite a lot is whether a diamond like this 1.216 carat, H-color, VS-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond or this 1.385 carat, H-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond will look great in one of our Signature settings because of the difference in color between it and the accent diamonds used in the ring. The reality is that even a diamond which is slightly warmer in color, such as an L-M color diamond would look great in this setting because super ideal cut diamonds tend to face up brighter and whiter than diamonds which are not cut to ideal proportions.

Keep in mind that diamonds are graded for an absence of color, and viewed from a side profile because color is most visible from the side, and the brilliance and dispersion created by the facets makes it more difficult to discern color from a top down perspective. In addition, differences in the color of “white” diamonds is extremely slight and is only readily apparent when comparing diamonds of the same range of carat weight side-by-side. It can be extremely difficult to judge the color of smaller diamonds, like the melee diamonds used in Brian Gavin Signature Settings, and they will tend to pick up some of the color of the center stone, which will help them all blend together.

This explanation might help you visualize the subtle differences in body color… Imagine that your computer monitor was set with a black background, if the color of a single pixel was changed to red or yellow, it would show up pretty readily… But on a white background, a single yellow pixel might not show up at all; the differences between white diamonds works very much the same way, especially when the center stone is slightly warmer than the accent diamonds because our eyes will drawn naturally to the characteristics of the larger diamond and have difficulty focusing on the accent stones.
