We offer a Lifetime Upgrade Policy on all Brian Gavin Signature diamonds (Signature hearts and arrows round, Signature cushion, Signature princess, Signature emerald, Signature Blue®, The Cape Series®, Black by Brian Gavin® and Advance Selection).

This does not apply to jewelry or jewelry that contains diamonds or diamond melee.

When upgrading to another Brian Gavin Signature diamond (see all above), apply 100% of the original purchase price (less shipping and sales tax) towards your upgrade (see more below) and pay the difference.

All in-house natural diamond upgrades require spending 50% or more of the original diamond purchase price, excluding original shipping and sales tax. For example, if your original natural diamond cost $1,000, the new natural diamond would need to cost at least $1,500.

Additional charges may apply at time of upgrade. If there was any sales tax paid on your original diamond purchase, this sales tax is nonrefundable and cannot be applied towards your upgrade.

Please note: Original certificates must be returned together with the diamonds. Each certificate that is not returned in its entirety and/or its original condition will incur a $250 restocking fee.

Can I upgrade my BG Lab Diamond to another BG Lab Diamond or to a Signature Natural Diamond?

Yes. However, the trade-in value will be determined based on current market pricing for lab-grown diamonds.

Can I upgrade my BG Signature Natural Diamond to a BG Lab Diamond ?

At this time we do not facilitate trade-ins from natural to lab-grown diamonds.

Please note that all diamonds that have been set into bezel settings are final sale and are not eligible for return, upgrade or buyback.
