Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty (Last Updated on 6/5/2025)
At Brian Gavin Diamonds, we stand behind the exceptional craftsmanship of every piece we create. Our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including:
- Structural flaws in the metal or setting
- Craftsmanship-related issues with stone settings
- Defective soldering or finishing
- Faulty prongs or loose stones caused by manufacturing errors
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion, free of charge.
Exclusions: Normal Wear and Tear & Other Limitations
This warranty does not cover issues resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, or unauthorized repairs. Examples include:
- Scratches or dents from daily wear
- Loss of luster or polish due to exposure to chemicals or cosmetics
- Worn or bent prongs from impact or long-term friction
- Chipped, cracked, or abraded stones due to accidental knocks
- Deformation or metal loss from excessive force or compression
- Damage caused by service or modifications by third parties not authorized by Brian Gavin Diamonds
These conditions are normal with regular use and can typically be restored through maintenance.
Care & Maintenance Requirements
Inorder to maintain your Lifetime Warranty, you must get your jewelry item(s) checked by Brian Gavin Diamonds (or a competent jeweler) once every 1-2 years. We encourage annual inspections and cleanings to maintain your jewelry’s condition. Brian Gavin Diamonds offers complimentary prong checks, deep cleanings, and polishings upon request. In the event that another competent jeweler suggests a "repair", inorder to maintain your warranty, all repairs must be done by Brian Gavin Diamonds.
Warranty Conditions
- Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- Proof of purchase from Brian Gavin Diamonds is required.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications void the warranty.
- We reserve the right to determine if a defect is manufacturing-related.
- Jewelry item(s) must be checked by Brian Gavin Diamonds (or another competent jeweler) once every 1-2 years.
Preferred Care Plan – Optional Enhanced Coverage
For additional protection, we recommend insuring your jewelry through our partner, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group. Coverage includes:
- Loss or theft
- Accidental damage
- Protection beyond manufacturing defects
