Diamond engagement rings for $7500
A plethora of options become available when you’re shopping for diamond engagement rings for $7500 from Brian Gavin because this slightly higher price range opens up the field of possibilities in terms of carat weight, color and clarity, and expands the selection of engagement rings considerably. To get an idea of all the possibilities which are available from Brian Gavin in this price range, I started out with the pre-selected engagement rings search tool which is available on the front page of the web site and set the price range to 7500 and it provided me with the 12 options which appear to the left, which we’re going to run through row by row from left to right.
Platinum 4 Prong Solitaire Engagement Ring:
This first ring is a traditional classic which combines our Platinum Four Prong Solitaire with a 1.076 carat, J-color, VS-2 clarity, round brilliant ideal cut diamond from the Brian Gavin Blue collection which exhibits medium blue fluorescence when it is exposed to black light. As with all of the diamonds which will be referenced within this article, the diamond has been graded by the American Gem Society Laboratory (AGSL) with an overall cut grade of AGS Ideal-0, which is the highest rating available from the AGSL for polish, symmetry, proportions and light performance – as determined using Angular Spectrum Evaluation Technology (ASET) which the AGSL uses to measure diamonds for brightness!
Platinum Classic Truth Solitaire Engagement Ring:
Our famous Platinum Classic Truth Solitaire features a half round, comfort fit, tapered ring shank and our Truth head configuration which incorporates four prongs into a uniquely designed setting which will look amazing when set with this 1.018 carat, J-color, SI-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond which exhibits a crisp and complete pattern of hearts and arrows because it has been cut to an incredible level of optical symmetry. It has been estimated that fewer than 0.001% of round brilliant cut diamonds exhibit a crisp and complete pattern of hearts and arrows and have an overall cut grade of AGS Ideal-0 which makes this diamond engagement ring an incredible choice!
classic Style Half Round Engagement Ring:
Our classic Style Half Round Engagement Ring in Platinum is one of my favorite rings because of the elegant design incorporated into the six prong configuration which will cradle the 1.018 carat, J-color, SI-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond referenced above beautifully! But you could also set this 1.247 carat, H-color, SI-2 clarity, diamond from the Brian Gavin Blue collection in it for only $738.00 more which will face up a little larger and be whiter, especially since the diamond exhibits very strong blue fluorescence which will give the H-color an extra boost when the diamond is viewed in bright sunlight or strong UV light.
Platinum Bead Set Cathedral Engagement Ring:
Our Platinum Bead Set Cathedral style engagement ring is based upon a classic cathedral, but we bead set diamonds into the sides of the ring so that the top half of her finger will sparkle for all to see! It will look incredible set with this 0.918 carat, H-color, SI-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond, or if you prefer something over a carat you could set it with this 1.023 carat, J-color,VS-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond which features strong blue fluorescence.
Platinum Classic Truth Sleek Micro Pave Engagement Ring:
To demonstrate the vast diversity that you can choose from based upon your personal preference for carat weight, color and clarity, I want to point out that you could set this 0.768 carat, D-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond in our Platinum Classic Truth Sleek Micro Pave engagement ring if you are a fan of high color diamonds; or for about seven hundred dollars more, you could set it with something like this 1.008 carat, J-color, SI-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond if you want to present your bride with something over the one carat mark.
18k White Gold Halo Engagement Ring:
The Brian Gavin 18k White Gold Halo Engagement Ring is one of our most popular designs and this 0.828 carat, I-color, VS-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond will look amazing set in it, but for only $736 more you could opt for something like this 1.206 carat, M-color, VS-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond with medium blue fluorescence and pick up a little bit of contrast between the F-G color accent diamonds and the M-color center stone, which is something that a lot of designers are doing these days to make the center stone “pop” even more in the ring!
Platinum 6 Prong Solitaire Engagement Ring:
Our Platinum Six Prong Solitaire Engagement Ring is an extremely popular choice because the six prong solitaire is the classic diamond solitaire that most people envision when they think of an engagement ring and this 1.076 carat, J-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond with medium blue fluorescence is the perfect choice to set in it. Of course if you want something a little larger, you could set it with the 1.247 carat, H-color, SI-2 clarity, diamond from the Brian Gavin Blue collection mentioned previously for only $132 more and that is something which I would definitely consider doing!
Platinum Novela Engagement Ring:
Our Platinum Novela Engagement Ring is an “illusion trim” solitaire which features 22 round diamonds which are set around 80% of the ring shank to create the perfect amount of sparkle around her finger, and it will look amazing set with this 0.708 carat, D-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature Hearts & Arrows diamond, or this 0.918 carat, H-color, SI-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond, basically for a difference of $739.00 we’re picking up a fifth of a carat and exchanging a little clarity and color for size… when it comes to putting an engagement ring together, it’s all about learning what the options are and deciding which characteristics of a diamond you’re willing to bend to the will of your budget and preferences to achieve the desired outcome.
18k White Gold Kristin Split Shank Halo Engagement Ring:
This 0.822 carat, I-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond will look stunning set in our 18k White Gold Kristin Split Shank Halo which is filled to the brim with about 1.25 carats of accent diamonds which brings the combined diamond weight of the completed ring to well over two carats total weight! It is guaranteed to be a show stopper of epic proportions!
Platinum Fish Tail Pave with Truth Head Engagement Ring:
Lots of people love the look of our Platinum Fishtail Pave Engagement Ring with Truth Head because it combines the features of several popular ring styles into one great ring! It will look simply stunning set with this 0.708 carat, D-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature Hearts & Arrows diamond or this 0.918 carat, H-color, SI-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond.
Platinum Grace Solitaire Engagement Ring:
If you prefer diamonds which are higher in clarity and color, then this 0.810 carat, F-color, VS-1 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature diamond set in our Platinum Grace Solitaire Engagement Ring might be the perfect combination of characteristics… However you could easily present your fiancé with a diamond weighing well over a carat if you select this 1.150 carat, K-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Blue diamond with medium blue fluorescence!
Deciding Between Carat Weight and Color:
The thing to realize is that the overall volume of light return and the sparkle factor of all of the diamonds referenced on this page is going to be the same because they are all from either the Brian Gavin Signature diamond or Brian Gavin Blue diamond collections. The primary difference is a little bit of body color which most people fail to notice under normal lighting conditions if they are not specifically looking for color. We use special lighting and compare diamonds side-by-side when they are set on their table with the culet pointing up, to detect subtle differences in body color which are not all that readily visible under normal lighting conditions. Differences of a color grade or two can have a dramatic effect upon the price of a diamond, while not being all that noticeable, if at all, to the average person… so dropping down in color a few grades can be a great way to pick up size without sacrificing visual performance!
