Brian Gavin’s “Novela” Diamond Melee Engagement Ring and a Jeff White Cushion Cut Sapphire...
Back in July we were contacted by a customer who was looking at his options to purchase a cushion cut sapphire and have it set in one of our beautiful custom settings. We offered to help him source a sapphire but ultimately he purchased one from Jeff White. At the beginning of November he called in to get started on his setting. He wanted the popular Novela in platinum but requested some adjustments which included a tapered band with tapering Brian Gavin Signature melee. We told him he would have it by mid December. He called in just before Thanksgiving and said that his family would be visiting the first week of December and that he would greatly appreciate early delivery so that he could show the ring to them. Thankfully, we were able to speed up his delivery by a week and we wrote him this e-mail:
Lesley – you, Brian and the rest of the team are amazing!!!! Everyone at BGD is certainly first class and are quality and customer service stars. I cannot tell you how excited I was to see this email in my box this morning. This definitely has made this the most memorable thanksgiving ever. Thank you thank you thank you! Again thank you for making this possible – I can't express how grateful I am.
When the ring was ready we e-mailed him pictures. On receiving the ring we received this wonderful e-mail:
Hi Lesley, Just wanted to say a BIG thank you (again) to you, Brian and everyone else there at BGD. I work in the hospitality industry, and I can say that your customer relationships and service is far above and beyond anything I expected prior to my engagement ring search, and would alone be merit enough. However after picking up the ring (and promptly opening it in the car of course), the craftsmanship, care and quality evident in the perfection and sheer beauty of the ring is testament to BGD. I am so happy I was able to work with you on this project. I would not have been able to complete this without the patience, advice, and constant & timely communication from you and Brian. Without a doubt, I would (and plan to) recommend BGD to anyone that will listen =) I am so excited to finally see the stunning ring myself, and can't wait to share it with my girlfriend.
