One Carat Diamond Solitaire Pendant

One Carat Diamond Solitaire Pendant

Hi Danny, my anniversary is fast approaching and I’m looking for a diamond solitaire pendant weighing around a carat. I had originally decided upon this 1.111 carat, I-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature round diamond, but then I saw the picture of a Brian Gavin Signature Cushion cut diamond set in a solitaire pendant and thought it looked more unique. I’m wondering how the two shapes of diamond compare in terms of sparkle, and it they are similar I would appreciate it if you would help me find a comparable cushion cut diamond to consider.

Brian Gavin Signature Cushion Solitaire Pendants:

While people tend to naturally gravitate towards round brilliant cut diamonds for diamond solitaire pendants, because of their uniform shape, appearance, and popularity in the market, the reality is that our Brian Gavin Signature Cushion cut diamonds are equally as stunning! The zero ideal proportions and incredible level of optical symmetry that these diamonds are cut to, provides a volume of light return and sparkle factor which rivals that of the round brilliant ideal cut diamonds featured in our Brian Gavin Signature and Brian Gavin Blue collections. Thus regardless of whether you choose one of our round or cushion cut diamonds, it is going to be incredible!

Without a doubt, the 1.111 carat, I-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature round diamond which you originally selected is an excellent choice, and it would make an incredible pendant. But I definitely like the look of our Signature Cushion cut diamonds and think that it is more unique option.

I looked through our current inventory of Brian Gavin Signature Diamonds and selected this 1.170 carat, I-color, VS-2 clarity, Brian Gavin Signature Cushion cut diamond, which provides you with the same clarity, color, and carat weight as the round brilliant ideal cut diamond which you selected, but also the uniqueness of a diamond shape which is brand new!

As you can see from the picture provided above, we’ve created several different elegant ways to set a Brian Gavin Signature Cushion cut diamond in a solitaire diamond pendant. The eight prong solitaire pendant sets the diamond from tip-to-tip which will make it appear larger, and the uniform pattern of the prongs will draw the eye out to the edges and create an even larger looking appearance.

And if you really like the look of a round brilliant, the pendant which features two round brilliant accent stones is kind of a perfect balance of blending the two shapes together into one stunning piece of jewelry.

Of course, our four prong solitaire style pendant offers the traditional look that so many people have come to expect in a diamond solitaire pendant. Just in case you’re looking for something more intricate, our custom jewelry department can custom design a pendant for you… the options are endless.
