To begin with, it is cut from the same diamond rough that we use to cut the round brilliant ideal cut diamonds which are featured within the Brian Gavin Signature and Brian Gavin Blue collections... most cushion modified brilliant cut diamonds are cut from irregular shaped pieces of diamond rough, and cut to whatever rendition of a pillow shape diamond that will result in the highest yield of carat weight.
