Hi Lesley, I just picked up the ring from Fedex and it SURPASSES all of my expectations, it is one of the few times I can honestly say that the photos don't do it justice. I love everything about it. It has the perfect amount of flow in the design, the pavee diamonds in the band look amazing, but my favorite feature of it has to be the mount that the main stone is set in. It looks stunning and is so well done. I cannot sufficiently express how happy I am with this ring. The box it came in even looks great! I'll definitely be using it when I propose. The proposal isn't until August 14th (so 1.5 weeks) and I'm going to have a hard time waiting to give it to her. I have no doubt that she will love it. Hi Lesley, I want to thank you again for all your help and for the tremendous buying experience. The proposal went off without a hitch and the Novela ring is as beautiful as the setting where it debuted. I surprised Alissa with a private sail across Lake Champlain in Vermont and popped the question while precariously perched on the bow of the boat. The ring looked especially brilliant with the sunset reflecting off the lake. I know Alissa was surprised and thrilled (as evidenced by her inability to take her eyes off of it). Dear Leslie, I finally got to see it in person after drooling over the e-mailed photos for weeks. It is just magnificent! It has so much more sparkle than I expected. The effect of having 5 BG branded stones side by side is just unbelievable! The setting is really lovely too, lets in so much light. Hi Lesley! The proposal went perfectly! I proposed to her on the beach at sunset and it was awesome. The ring has been a huge hit everywhere we go now! She constantly gets compliments on it and I am extremely happy with how great it turned out. I can't tell you how many compliments she has gotten on it from complete strangers, it is great. I also had the ring appraised for insurance purposes, and the appraiser commented on what a terrific job the jeweler did on the re-cut of the diamond. Lesley, It has been a pleasure working with you on this jewelry project that has such tremendous personal meaning for me. All the positive comments I read about your customer service and excellent craftsmanship have been absolutely true. I picked up the earrings on Monday evening and felt like it was Christmas. First the big FedEx box, then the small FedEx box, then the bubble wrap envelope, then the orange tissue, (oh the torture! – still not there yet) then the white box, then the beautiful wooden oval jewelry box, and finally…the moment that took my breath away. The earrings are so perfect, I wouldn't change one tiny detail. I'm glad I went with the milgrain edge. I put them on right in the FedEx parking lot and drove home with a smile on my face. Hi Lesley: As my son would say "Holey Moley Cow!!!" The bracelet is absolutely breathtaking! I was a little worried about ordering the bracelet sight-unseen as there aren't any examples of semi-bezel set tennis bracelets on your website but the setting is perfectly in proportion to the sparkly diamonds within. I love how clean and under-stated it is at first glance then super sparkly when I move my arm. I was supposed to give it directly to my husband so that he could 'surprise' me with it in November (on our anniversary) but after your photos we were both so excited that we just busted open the boxes in the FedEx parking lot. Hi Denise, Thank you for the arrows photo! And apologies for not emailing yesterday afternoon when we got the rings. We had unexpected company arrive in the afternoon and they stayed until after dark (how terribly inconsiderate of them, when I had rings to admire!) So it wasn't until today that I really had a chance to take a good look at the rings. The weather is awful today (thunderstorms) so I haven't been able to take the ring outside to see what it looks like in the sunlight, dappled shade, etc., but our first impressions are that it is absolutely beautiful! Hi Denise, here are some pics . Very hard to get as drizzly and dark here in Melb at the moment, but I have tried for you!! I just love the stone, though it does seem quite warm in the photos, to me it has no warmth in person. It looks white most of the time except when it's sparkly like crazy, and then it captures every colour of the rainbow. That's what I love most about it, plus the crisp, clear edges which I think are enhanced by the very dainty rose gold prongs. Janine J.

Jamie: It's soo pretty! I love the K color too. I am guessing Brian did find pears that had a lower color because they match the cushion well and you can really tell the color difference between these stones and my GIA G engagement ring. I doubt F/G pears would have matched well. He did a good job finding these pears – it was worth the wait! Hi Lesley and Jamie, this is Derek from Newcastle, OK. It's been a couple months since I received my ring from you guys, but I bought it a little early. My girlfriend and I went on a vacation to celebrate my birthday and her graduating college with a bachelor in chemistry. We went to Seattle on May 30th then continued on to an Alaskan cruise from June 1st to June 8th. On the evening of June 2nd, we had our first "formal" evening on the ship. It's very typical to get your picture taken on these nights by the photographers on board. It's kind of a quick easy way to get some nice pictures taken that you normally would never get around to doing at home. Since we didn't have any friends or family on the trip with us, I figured this would be a nice opportunity to get the moment recorded. As the photographer was taking our pictures, I dropped to one knee, pulled out the ring and popped the question. The whole time the photographer was snapping away. But anyway, she said yes, and with NO hesitation lol. Everybody asks that! The trip was absolutely fantastic and the ring is equally amazing. I try to teach all that will listen that cut is king!!! Hi Jamie and Brian, I wanted to drop you an email to let you know that I gave Leila her ring yesterday and she was delighted! She of course said yes but how could she not with your beautiful ring! I must say that when I took it out of my pocket opened the box and offered it to her it was more beautiful than it had ever looked to me before! The whole night it sat on her finger sparkling – it was perfect. Far more perfect in fact than I had realized when I first sneaked a couple of peaks at it from the box on arrival. We were in Las Vegas (I know, I know – it doesn't sound romantic ) but now that the night is over I wouldn't have swapped it for anywhere else in the world. Reason being that throughout the evening the diamond was like a firework on her finger. Every one of the restaurants, bars and casinos that we visited had different lighting and colours all of which made the stone go crazy! I wanted to give you some insight into some events that made my night (apart from the "Yes" of course). At the restaurant that I proposed in we were in a secluded and very private "shell" with a view across the strip and the Nevada Mountains. (Mix Restaurant on the 64th floor @ Mandalay Bay). Because of this I could propose in private. The waiter returned to the table afterwards and immediately noticed the diamond due to its sparkle. He questioned if it was new saying that there is no way he could have missed it before due to its brilliance. it before due to its brilliance. As a result we received free Champagne, desserts and when we left were given tickets (best seats in the house – 330 dollars value) to the Cirque de Soleil Elvis show! We will go there this evening. At the first Casino we visited we sat at a blackjack table and the dealer immediately said – "Oh my, that ring is beautiful – did you propose in Vegas? It¢s so sparkly" – this was without any hand playing, ring examining or finger fidgeting. Exactly the same happened at both of the bars that we visited later in the evening from waitresses and guests at nearby tables. In a taxi line on the way home two young Latinas in front of us switched to Spanish (which Leila speaks) the first commenting "Check out the stone on that girls finger – do you think it¢s real ?" The reply was "I'm not sure it looks too perfect – if it is than that's one big stone" I knew what had happened straight away by Leila's face – so did the young ladies who turned and said – its so amazing did you pick it out yourself and then told me what a great job I had done Thank you both so much for making us so happy. Perfect! It's beautiful. What a wonderful surprise to see that you place white gloves alongside the ring so as not to spoil it when I give it to her! She looked away towards the lighthouse as the whales peeked their fins through the glimmering water, the sun falling below the horizon. When she turned around I was speechless. I don't recall the exact moment, even her answer, though I remember tearing up as I lost all my words and my mind went blank. The ring sparkled in the sunset and slid effortlessly onto her finger. Once I got out the question, we toasted her answer with champagne I had hidden in my bag. The day was unforgettable. She loves it, every part of it. The diamond is gorgeous and she couldn't be more happy. She even fell in love with the setting the moment it touched her skin. We will still be looking into a custom design along with swapping in a different stone so she always has the original setting. Jamie, The rings are astoundingly beautiful! I cannot get over how elegant they are and how much they also make my stone pop. I am glad you talked me out of a larger stone as this one looks like more than enough on my hand without crossing over into what (to me) would be too big. The Truth head appears so delicate, and has such a wonderful profile. The prongs so delicate I can hardly notice them from the top despite being against a blue stone! And I just love, love the bands. Hi Jamie and Lesley, I'm officially off the market! Thanks so much for all of your great communication and all of your help. My plan went off without a hitch. My idea was set into motion when I knew that I'd be going on a cottage trip at Niagara Falls with 10 of her friends. On the second day of the trip, I snuck out super early in the morning to go pick up the ring, without alerting anybody and came back early enough so that I didn't arouse suspicion. I carried in some grocery bags under the guise that I went out shopping for breakfast foods. The weather was absolutely perfect that day and I was excited to go through with my plan. I had been hinting to her the entire trip that I really wanted to experience the Maid of the Mist tour boat for the first time (which is the truth!), and that we just had to go during this trip. (If you watch the show "The Office", you might know where I got my inspiration from). I managed to get us back to the Falls area just in time to catch the 2nd last tour, and we were on our way. A friend of hers made it onto the boat with us, while the others stayed behind because they decided not to go for various reasons. As you know, the Maid of the Mist tour is a wet one, and knowing this, I bought a nice digital camera before I went on the trip in preparation. So we were off and I was nervous. The short trip from the ferry dock to the edge of the falls couldn't have felt longer. I hinted to her friend that I would need her help with the camera, and that she would know exactly why. (Thanks to her, we got some amazing photos) By this time, the waves were crashing, the water was in our faces, and the wind was throwing our ponchos around like a hurricane. It was time. When the ferry was as close as possible to the falls, I grabbed her hand and told her that I had something that I wanted to give her. Confused, she asked what it was. It didn't take her long to realize that something was up and she threw her hand to her mouth in surprise and shock. I got down on my knee and said those few short words, and she said yes! Yes. YES! The whole time, I was holding her one right hand, that I didn't realize that I chose to put the ring on the wrong hand! haha. It's just as well, because I wanted to put the ring on her finger as quickly as possible before the ring flew away! The ferry boat soon backed away from the thrashing of the thunderous falls. My girlfriend disappeared in there somewhere, and I emerged with a fiance instead. She absolutely loves the diamond and the setting, and has been getting compliments everywhere she goes. Lesley, we picked up the ring last night at the FedEx depot and the ring is fabulous!!!! It has definitely exceeded our expectations and the diamond in particular is more gorgeous in person than we had anticipated. The only unfortunate thing about bringing home the ring last night was that the lighting in our house is terrible so we kept switching locations in the house to get a better view. From overhead kitchen lighting to under cabinet kitchen lighting and finally to our main floor powder room (!) we couldn't really find the right lighting to do the ring, and especially the stone, any justice. After letting me drool over the ring for a short while James hid it away and told me I'd have to wait until he proposed to see it again. Luckily, the sun is out today and so James let me rescue the ring from its hiding spot and spend some time with it on our sunny verandah. WOW! The diamond sure does sparkle like crazy! It feels like sweet victory to be in possession of such a great stone after shopping around locally and seeing some real duds. I am very impressed with how much the stone sparkles and shines and gives off tiny bursts of colour. I'm am so glad I learned about well cut stones and BGD from Pricescope! As for the setting…I love it! The 2.5mm band is just perfect for my finger and the size of the stone. The prong tips are impressively dainty and make a delicate statement without hiding the center stone or taking away from its beauty. I was initially nervous about how large the "donut" under the stone would be and how much it would prohibit being able to wear a wedding band flush with the engagement ring. But now I realize I was silly to worry and that the proportions of the setting are perfect. I also love how I can see the profile of the diamond from the side and that the bottom of the pavillion is on display. To me, the "Grace" setting is more than just a simple solitaire as it has certain unique elements that allow it to flatter any round brilliant center stone. "Grace" is classic, timeless, elegant, fluid, and of course "grace"ful and I'm so excited that I now own it….well, as soon as James proposes It was a pleasure working with BGD and I thank you for your patience and great customer service. You've definitely taken away any reservations James and I may have had about buying an engagement ring online. Hi Lesley, I proposed last week to my fiancee and she loves the ring. The craftsmanship is some of the finest we have seen. We both can't stop staring at. She really likes the idea of the two surprise stones inside. We are now officially engaged to be married next year. When I first viewed my ring the diamonds had so much sparkle and light that I couldn't focus on the stones. I had to move out of the light and put on my "readers" just to be able to focus past the light and on the ring itself. (I don't normally need the readers except for very fine print, I just couldn't see past the light.) Thank you for allaying my worries regarding the setting when I started to second guess my choice. Hello Lesley, I picked up the ring today from the FedEx shipping center and everything looks great. The ring is fantastic and I know my girlfriend will love it. Hi Lesley, I picked up the wedding band today and it is absolutely spectacular! The bead set style really shows off the diamonds because the prongs are nice and subtle. I have never seen an eternity band sparkle like this one – the mainstream retailers like Tiffany charge multiples more for a similar design that lacks the hearts & arrows which give your diamonds that unparalleled fire. Clearly I had to get a BGD band to match my fiancee's beautiful BGD platinum Tiffany-style knife edge solitaire, (which she has appropriately deemed "sparkler") and I am grateful you were able to custom-match the width of the band to the width the engagement ring shank. The pairing of the two together looks excellent, and I will be sure to send pictures after the wedding, as my fiancee is going to be surprised by the band on our wedding day. Lesley, Wow! The ring is amazing. It's perfect in every way and simply flawless. I'm very happy with everything and I couldn't have asked for more. Lesley and Brian, We wanted to tell you how pleased we are with the outstanding service we received, not to mention the FABULOUS Brian Gavin Select diamond. I wanted to get back with you on what I thought about the piece…and wanted some time to live and wear it regularly before I did. In October my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a trip to French Polynesia, we fell in love with the islands and wanted to bring home a piece of it to last forever. We shopped for the perfect black pearl and found it on Bora Bora. When we returned, I wanted to set the pearl in a unique setting that would be simple, timeless and always remind me of us. Everyone said it was ME, it fit me and my personality and something smaller wouldn't show the pearl to perfection (as it does). Now that I have worn it for a couple weeks, I agree whole-heartedly. It is something I can wear everyday OR for special occasions, it always draws attention and it feels comfortable. I really, really love it. Hi Lesley, Just wanted to let you know that my parcel of goodies arrived safe and sound here in the UK and in super quick time (2 days from shipping). All i can say is WOW, WOW, WOW! I LOVE my pendant, earrings and bracelet – they are just perfect in every way. The craftsmanship is simply superb and I just cannot believe the difference the ideal cut makes to a diamond – they just glitter and you can see them sparkle from across the room!!! Even my husband (who normally thinks that all diamonds look the same) is blown away. I love my anniversary bracelet – it is so dainty and the diamonds sparkle away. Hi Lesley and Brian, I had such a super exciting day on Friday, as you can imagine. I woke up to find these gorgeous glamour shots and as soon as it was available for pickup I rushed over to Fedex with my pajama's on! I swear! The pictures are fantastic and the ring looks magnificent! The combination of Brian's excellent diamonds with the beautiful detailing of the ring (without being overbearing!) is stunning. It's exactly what I think that Elaine was looking for in a ring. The sparkle and clarity of the diamonds is truly mesmerizing… those alone are reason enough to just stare at the ring and watch the light play off it. I was walking around my apartment, turning the ring back and forth, watching the reflections in the various lighting conditions. It seemed to go from brilliant to dangerously-distracting-while-walking. And then there's the setting – outstanding. Hi Brian/Lesley, I just wanted to touch base with you both now to say thank you again – though it was tough holding onto the ring for those weeks between its arrival and the proposal, I'm happy to report that everything went just as planned. We were both thrilled with how the setting turned out, I can easily say that it exceeded my own expectations which, as I'm sure Lesley can attest, were quite high. Even the smallest stones in the setting sparkle as if they were on fire, and I still catch her (and people around her) staring at it for minutes at a time without even realizing it: it's just that hypnotizing. My second reaction was that I couldn't believe how amazingly brilliant and sparkly they are. I know the stones I traded in were well-cut stones, but I can really see the difference between those stones and these beauties. Dear Lesley and Brian, I'm ENGAGED! Darren popped the question the night of December 16th! Words cannot even explain what a saw when my Darren proposed to me. He opened the box as he was proposing and took out and held this beautiful ring that meant the world to me. The symbol of our love and commitment. As he placed the ring on my finger I was floored, I have never in my life seen such a beautifully cut diamond and to believe it is MINE! I cried and just could not believe the perfection. I am so glad that I had learned and read about you on Priscescope and that Darren put ALL his trust and confidence to you both. The diamond is flawless, colorless, and a "sparkler"! My mouth drops when I look at the beauty of it! The gorgeous sleek knife edge setting, it is perfection! The lines and craftsmanship are truly PERFECT, there are no other words. It surpassed all my stresses and worries (my extreme pickiness!!) Lesley, you were right! The entire ring is absolutely GORGEOUS! I barely could work yesterday, I spent the whole day chatting with the girls in the office as the crowd poured in congratulating me.. and one girl came over and said "Wanda, you lifted up your hand and all I could see from a distance was this thing sparkling on your finger!" I thought to myself, that's my ring!! My best friend made me feel so good when she took me out to lunch and said, "Oh my god! I have never see a diamond like that in my whole life!", and she named it the "sparkler"..it¢s such a great feeling. Although I had seen photos of and read about ideally-cut diamonds on pricescope, nothing could prepare me for the dazzling light show that your three hearts-and-arrows stones display under any lighting conditions. The delicacy of your platinum work is marvelous and I appreciate your attention to detail; yes, I noticed that the stone is perfectly aligned with the prongs. Dear Lesley and Brian, I just picked up Emma's ring from FedEx in Hong Kong. I was both so excited to see it and ridiculously nervous to open it anywhere near people – which in HK is everywhere!! I am scheduled to depart HK for Shanghai tonight at 9pm but I could not spend the day hanging around knowing I had the ring in my bag so I returned to the airport at 3pm, found a private booth in a sports bar and began the ritual. I donned your white gloves (nice touch) and gently opened layer after layer. I stared at the box for about 20 minutes. Eventually I opened it and was literally hypnotized. Your photos were great but…..the real thing, unbelievable. I have been staring at it for the last 3 hours and cannot stop. I just don't know how I am going to keep this a secret until I propose! Thank you, thank you, thank you. The graduation from round to knife edge is so gentle you can't quite pinpoint the change – perfection if there was ever a definitive definition. Lesley, I finally acquired the package from Allison today after much anticipation. Lesley, Josh and I picked up the diamond today after work and took it with us to dinner. It's simply beautiful! We had some interesting lighting in the restaurant, and I had brought my aunt's old engagement ring to see how they compared. Your stone made my aunt's look pretty sad. Dear Lesley, My ring arrived on Friday afternoon. It was perfect timing. I had just finished my last lecture of law school and handed in my thesis. I came home and next thing I know there was a knock at the door and my ring was here! What a fabulous way to celebrate! And I have to say, I was completely blown away by the ring! Work has been keeping me extremely busy…The ring came in and I gave it to her the following week at a little Italian restaurant. Small private table with lots of candles, just like Brian suggested, and he was right. The stone was at its best in those lighting conditions. Dear Brian and Lesley, Thank you so much for everything you did for my engagement ring! It was so much more than I ever could have expected — it sparkles in daylight, candlelight, night light, headlights … it's just amazing! The workmanship on the setting is just as wonderful, too, and Dan says interacting with the both of you was consistently a pleasure. The diamond sparkles like mad — in fact, I was so entranced the first time I had it out in the sunlight, I started walking into an intersection without checking the lights! Luckily, I figured it out quickly (honking horns will do that) and hopped back on the curb, but it's official: Brian Gavin diamonds stop traffic. I'm not sure if Dan mentioned it, but we met at school and the amethyst he chose was to round out our school colors of purple and white. So that was especially meaningful. People have been pretty surprised and intrigued when I've whipped off the ring to show them the "super coolest part." Dear Brian and Lesley, I had some time last night to inspect the diamond. I have an Idealscope, ASET viewer and the hearts viewer you provided as well as a light table and 8x loupe. I prepared by examining the CZ calibration stone that ships with the Idealscope just to get a feel for how to manipulate the gem and what to expect. After I gained confidence with this, I put on the white gloves and opened the package with the diamond. I have to say that it was really quite something. Not being familiar with precious stones and with limited experience going to actual bricks and mortars, I would say that the experience was somewhat novel. I put the stone on the black plate and viewed the arrows first, using the viewer you provided. The symmetry was superb, really something. I then tried the ASET and Idealscope. Just as in the photos, the arrows were distinct and perfectly aligned. I then flipped the stone over and viewed the hearts. I think I have been spoiled by the images you provided as I noticed that the hearts image would shift as I moved my head or changed ever so slightly my angle of view. However, it was still really magnificent. I know that the 8x loupe would not prove sufficient nonetheless I pulled it out to see if I could discern any inclusions. The grading report shows the inclusions in the center third of the table. I could not make anything out. I spent quite a bit of time just admiring the cut. Afterwards, I pulled out an LED flashlight to see what would happen. In fact, I viewed the stone under different lighting conditions. I am very happy with the purchase and believe that after it has been set and I can compare it to other real world diamonds, its beauty will stand out the more. Suffice it to say that I am thrilled. I will spend some time thinking about the setting then touch base again. As I mentioned, I am leaning towards a four prong setting with the stone set somewhat lower with a modern-look shank that is straight on the sides. I will gather some jpeg images that capture the elements and work on a sketch. I have enjoyed working with you and really appreciate your time and counsel for this important purchase. William C.

Hi Lesley & Brian, It's been a little over a week since I proposed to my girlfriend, now fiance. I just want to write a quick email to update and thank you both for making this beautiful ring in such a short time frame. Oh, and most important of all, the ring fit her perfect! Hi Lesley, I picked up the pendant this morning. I ripped into the packaging right there in the Fedex parking lot and literally gasped! I just took my breath away it was so beautiful. Hi Lesley! I picked up the package you sent on Friday morning. I have to confess that after opening all the packaging I was a bit hesitant to open the beautiful box with the DBTY necklace in. I have wanted one for so long and I was a bit afraid that the one you custom-made for me wouldn't meet my expectations. The first word that came to my mind when I finally opened the box was: EXQUISITE! The five diamonds are very sparkly and seem to look a lot bigger in real life than the dimensions you gave me. It not only meets my expectations, it far exceeds it. I am totally in love with it and can't walk past a mirror without slowing down to look at it again. I have worn the necklace since Friday morning and have received numerous compliments already – many from strangers! I am wearing it at the moment with my diamond solitaire and I am trying to decide if I like it as it is, or want the one a little bit shorter than the other. I am leaning towards getting a spacer to lengthen my solitaire pendant, but I will see. The only thing I didn't expect was that the chains of the two would tangle up while wearing it, but at the moment it doesn't bother me that much. Lesley, I've been so busy lately that I haven't gotten a chance to send you a note about what I thought of the ring. I picked it up during lunch last week and ripped through the FedEx package, wore the white gloves, and opened up the box. My first reaction was an audible, "wow." The ring looks exactly how I had pictured it (and way better than how the CAD showed it). It is simply beautiful. I can't thank you and Brian enough for helping me get the stone and create a custom setting in such a short period of time. I am so glad I listened to Brian's advice on picking the stone. I took it home that night and showed my parents who were blow away by how much it sparkled and how classy the setting looked. It was amazing, and a great testament to Brian's work, to see even the smaller, scattered stones on the band sparkle beautifully. I sent pics of it all around to my friends and everyone loved it. One of my friends noted, "you know that is easily the best diamond ring I have seen – who chose it?? Well done!!!" Nissan D.

I am in love with it. I absolutely cannot get over how sparkly the halo melee is. I just am blown away by the beauty of those tiny stones. I have never seen such life in such small diamonds…I was always a little embarrassed by the previous setting. I guess because I saw imperfections I thought everyone else did. I am very analytical and once I found one thing wrong with the previous setting, I found more and more about it that bothered me. The poor sapphire just didn't come to life in it. Brian said the sapphire talks now and he is right!! I will honestly tell you that I cannot find one thing wrong with this setting. I cannot wait to go to work today and show it off! People may get tired of me putting my hand in their face. The sapphire looks so much better now. I bought it because I loved the color. And now BGD brought it to life in a most beautiful and very complimentary setting. I told Brian that I knew the sapphire was not a symmetrical cut but I loved the color so much that I bought it. In the past, I could always find the corner that was ever so slightly "off". Now, I cannot do that. I do not know what you did or how you did it but the sapphire looks perfectly shaped. I think it looks larger in this setting for some reason. I suppose all the beautiful melee allows the color of the sapphire to "pop". That may be an overused word but it applies in this case. There simply are not sufficient words to thank you for taking on this project and for the beautiful ring. I just knew in my heart that BGD would make the perfect ring and you did. I guess the best way to describe how I feel is that this sapphire ring now makes my face and heart smile. Alisha H.

Hi Lesley, I'm having a rather frantic day but just wanted to drop you a quick note to say WOW!!!!!!!! The packages arrived this morning but I've only just now managed to sneak away and open them in my car. They are absolutely perfect, I couldn't have asked for more, they make a gorgeous set and I honestly can't spot any colour difference between the 'E' of my pendant and the 'I' of the earrings almost makes me wish I'd gone for the 'J's after all (don't worry, I love the 'I's, they aren't going anywhere)! The size is perfect, the workmanship is exquisite and the jump ring on the pendant chain was a great idea as I'm loving both the 15" and 16" length. I'm so pleased that my original e-ring stone has a worthy home and won't need to sit in my sock drawer any longer (well, it will for a little while as I've promised to keep this set until the wedding – nooooo idea how I'm going to manage that but I'm determined to try). I promise to get you some neck / ear shots when I get a chance and some decent light. That was some fast shipping! Hi Lesley, I received the completed ring from James Meyer this weekend and I actually gasped when I saw the stone! As you know, it was sent directly to him so I didn't see it prior to being set. This is my first ideal cut round and I'm used to the performance (or lack thereof!) of my asscher….WOW….it's unbelievably gorgeous! People are staring at my hand constantly; diamonds of this size and quality aren't seen very often around here. I can't believe this is a K, and neither can anyone else! This particular stone has medium blue florescence – do you think it's helping the color? I didn't get a chance to see the other K's that you had available to compare. I'm loving the warmer color and will probably stay in this range when I upgrade to a stone around 2.5 carats – probably sometime next year. Leslie – I just picked up my 5 stone anniversary ring from FedEx – and after going through the big box, smaller box, pouch and THEN to the ring box…holding my breath the entire time…I finally got to my ring. What a stunner! I really had a hard time with the decision to go from larger .50's to better graded .40's – particularly when I often suffer from the dreaded DSS (diamond shrinkage syndrome). Your assurance that I still had FFC (full finger coverage) did a lot to remove some of the anxiety, but I had to see it to believe it. FFC here we come!! It really is the perfect size stones for my size 7 finger. I have also never had round diamonds, and didn't expect the brilliance from these – wow! Outside, inside…they look terrific! Thank you so much for great communication, immediate response to questions and such quick turn-around in making my ring. You really have a customer for life. Lesley! I just picked up my band. The FedEx people must of thought I was nuts sitting in the lot ripping open the box. Anyway, the band is STUNNING!! Even more beautiful and sparkly in real life. I still cannot believe that these are the same diamonds and this came from the old ring. Hi Lesley, I got my ring and stone appraised yesterday by one of the independent appraisers I found using PriceScope. She's been in the business 27 years. I wanted to pass along that not only did she place its value above what I paid, but she was very impressed overall. She wouldn't stop talking about how beautiful the stone was for the entire hour I was there. She noted that Brian's workmanship was simply outstanding. She praised the setting (Tiffany Knife Edge Solitaire) and its attention to detail, like the small hole underneath the stone on the inside on the band (I assume for cleaning purposes, but she liked it because she could measure the depth of the stone). She facetiously said my fiancee was more likely to sever her finger than for us to have problems with the prongs, because they're placed so well (I of course will still get it checked several times a year). Hi Lesley and Brian, I picked up the pendant this afternoon and I'm thrilled. I love the thinness of the bezel, and that the jump rings are turned and nearly invisible. (Even though the bezel is so thin, it really gives the stone a size boost too!) And I don't miss the milgrain all that much – in fact, it's probably a better match for the other, smaller bezel pendant I have and plan to layer with this one. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It turned out fabulous and perfect! I tracked the package all night literally and about 10 am my time Fedex called to say they were holding it for me to pick up and I rushed out like mad woman and as soon as I paid them the pesky $92 CAD in taxes I ran out to the car and started to open the package and ended up cutting my finger, that's how mad with excitement I was I actually didn't even notice until I got home and Chris noticed that I had blood all over my hand. Hi Lesley! The ring is BEAUTIFUL! The diamond itself looked bigger than I imagined it would and the thing sparkles like crazy! I proposed over last weekend in Sedona. She didn't know it was coming and we really lucked out on the ring size because it fit her perfectly We stayed at an incredible B&B overlooking Cathedral Rock and I proposed at sun down while we were on the patio after dinner. Everything went better than I could have ever expected. She said "Absolutely Yes!" and after the sun went down the owners of the B&B snuck in our room and littered it with rose peddles, champagne & chocolate fondue with strawberries leading to the Jacuzzi tub. Hi Lesley, I picked up the bracelet this morning and it is gorgeous! I was a little worried about the bulkiness of the Stuller setting, but it's actually very delicate in person. I definitely didn't need an extra jump ring, the bracelet is a little too big. It looks very elegant on, I plan on taking some pictures tomorrow. Your photos you sent me yesterday don't do the diamond justice! The diamond may be small, but it is a firecracker! I can't wait to add more stones. Lesley & Brian, I picked up the package and I can only say WOW!!!! The pictures did not do the ring or earrings justice! The ring is gorgeous!!!! The head integration looks much better than in the pictures I sent you! My diamond shows no tint of color at all – and the euro shank looks wonderful! The workmanship is incredible and I absolutely love the head on the ring. I had to laugh because my husband was looking at the melee in the band and said "they look just like real diamonds except miniature." I think he was surprised to see the same detail in them. The ring fits perfect – better than any ring I have ever owned. It is not spinning at all and yet it is not tight. Hi Lesley, I didn't take too much time reviewing the diamond when I got it home but I did get to take a detailed look with the appraiser. The appraiser thought I got a great deal buying a G SI2 and getting something a lot closer to an F SI1. He said he loved the cut and that it didn't get any better than that. The retail value I was given was 50% more than I paid. More importantly, I think it looks amazing and couldn't be happier. Hi Lesley, The diamond is beautiful! It has very colorful flashes! I had to get it appraised on Friday because BF wanted to and the GIA gemologist appraised it as a G-VS1. I'd put it at a low F/high G as well and it truly was very eye clean! I can't believe it's really an SI1! To be honest, I haven't had a lot of time with the stone at all, I only got to see it once when we opened the box and more closely a second time at the appraisers! It's being hidden from me until the ring is finished entirely. I will most likely write a more detailed review on PS about my experience once bf proposes and I actually get to live with it daily. Lol. I would have wrote sooner but lighting wasn't ideal until we went to the jewelers on the weekend…(we switched to energy-saving fluorescent light-bulbs.) Thank you for the hearts & arrows viewer. I forgot to ask if it was included, so when it dropped out of the bag unexpectedly it was very exciting for us! Beautiful hearts by the way. BF was very satisfied too! Hi Lesley, I picked it up!!!!!!!!!!! The prongs are definitely more delicate in person than on pictures! I love it and is kind of glad that I didn't go with the bezel as the size may overwhelm me a bit as this is intended to be for everyday wear. I'm sure that I'll have shrinkage syndrome per PS very soon but this is the perfect size for now! The studs are beautiful. I can definitely see the color difference when compared to my ER (D color) but I just checked it out in mirror and it's gorgeous! I truly appreciate your help and patience with me. Lesley, I managed to pop out at lunchtime today and pick the package up from the courier. Turned out their depot was only about 15 miles away from work so it wasn't too bad, although a little difficult as I work in the same company as my girlfriend and we normally take lunch together so I had to make my excuses ) Looking at it closely the stone really is stunning!
