What is Fishtail Pave? Fishtail Pavé is a style in which small diamonds of the same shape are set in extremely close proximity. This mass formation effectively coats the metal surface. The gems are separated by and held in place by little "v'"s of the setting metal. The result is what looks like a continuous surface of diamonds or other gems that resemble a fish's tail. All of our fishtail engagement rings and bands are available in 18K White Gold, 18K Yellow Gold, 18K Rose Gold and 950 Platinum. Pricing is for the setting only.
